Jekyll & Hyde Running was founded with a simple idea — that running events should offer more than just a start line and a finish time.Built from the success of the Kinloss Running Festival, we exist to create events that combine community spirit with genuine challenge, giving runners a complete journey rather than a single race.At the heart of our approach is a dual identity:Jekyll Events — inclusive, progressive, and accessible.Hyde Events — challenging, strategic, and relentless.We believe every runner should have the opportunity to develop, push boundaries, discover what they’re capable of, and unleash whats within....Whether that means taking on your first trail event or stepping into more demanding terrain, our events are designed to support both sides of the runner.Based in Moray, we’re building a growing series of experiences rooted in community, consistency, and the raw appeal of running in the outdoors.Whether you're chasing a personal best or looking for something completely different — there’s a place for you here.

Where it all began....our annual community event with your choice of distance and terrain, road races or trail:

•Kinloss Back Yard UltraThe Kinloss Running Festival takes place on the last weekend of August.
The Jekyll 6 Hour Trail Series
A brand new series of trail races launching very soon. Designed for runners who want to progress their trail running journey at their own pace with their own distance goal in mind.You have 6 hours to run as many (or as few) of our looped course as you can. Return to Race HQ and have a break after every lap, or keep going until the bell rings...its up to you. And the best bit...everyone gets a medal, regardless of their distance.Sign up for each race in the series...and there's a bonus medal to be had too...win-win.
